Claire Trevor School of the Arts is UCI’s center for innovative, creative engagement in art in all of its facets: production, critique, appreciation, and development. The School’s work focuses on creativity—but not just on creativity: our mission integrates all levels of education (from B.A. and B.F.A. to M.F.A. to Ph.D.) with arts advocacy and leadership, engagement with social and cultural issues, and partnerships with individuals and organizations locally, nationally, and internationally.

 

Kamelia Massih Oustanding Student and Faculty Prizes in the Arts

Donations to Kamelia Massih’s memorial have contributed to the establishment of a permanent endowment for Portland State University’s School of Fine and Performing Arts that will fund annual Kamelia Massih Outstanding Student and Faculty Prizes for PSU’s School of Fine and Performing Arts.

 

The Ellis Island Honors Society

The Ellis Island Honors Society was created on the conviction of its founders that the diversity of the American people is what makes this nation great.  Its mission is to honor and preserve this diversity and to foster tolerance, respect and understanding among religious and ethnic groups.

The Ellis Island Honors Society was known as National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations - NECO until Fall of 2017.

The Encyclopædia Iranica is a comprehensive research tool dedicated to the study of Iranian civilization in the Middle East, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Indian subcontinent.

 

From the Heart Production

From the Heart Productions is dedicated to helping independent filmmakers with unique films that contribute to society get their films funded. They can include narrative films, documentaries, short films, and web series with compelling and powerful stories, told with passion.

 

Metropolitan Museum of Art: Nishapur Gallery of Persian Art

The Metropolitan Museum of Art was founded on April 13, 1870, "to be located in the City of New York, for the purpose of establishing and maintaining in said city a Museum and library of art, of encouraging and developing the study of the fine arts, and the application of arts to manufacture and practical life, of advancing the general knowledge of kindred subjects, and, to that end, of furnishing popular instruction."[1]

This statement of purpose has guided the Museum for over 140 years.
